Classes Offered and Dress Code





Ballet is highly recommended and extremely beneficial in teaching poise, flexibilty, posture, grace and rhythm, along with self-discipline and self-respect.  Ballet technique is an integral part in all other forms of dance.  Jazz fundamentals are rooted in ballet.  30 minute class for students 4 years old-5th grade; one hour class for students 6th grade and up (Must be 4 years old by October 1st).


Solid color leotard in pink or black; or black booty shorts with tight-fitting camisole.  Ballet skirt is allowed.  Tights or leggings are preferred.  Pink ballet shoes required.  In addition to ballet shoes, dancers in grades 5 and up are required to have a lyrical shoe for performance.



A style of American theatrical dance using precise rhythmical patterns of foot movement and audible foot tapping.  Tap helps students develop rhythm, coordination and timing and allows them to make music with their feet.

Same body wear as for ballet.  Tan tap shoes with ribbon for K-5th grade; tan Mary-Jane tap shoes for middle school students; tan jazz tap shoes for all high school students.




Our gymnastics program teaches the basic fundamentals and techniques of gymnastics including progressive basic skills, flexibility and muscle deveopment.  In addition, our program teaches students the skills needed to cheer on school and all-star cheer squads.  If the students show exemplary gymnastics skills and emontional/mental readiness, they may be invited to move on to specialized teams or classes.  These specialized classes offer students an opportunity to be invited onto our GF Flyers Competitive Power Tumbling Team.  

Gym shorts (Soffe) and t-shirt if not participating in dance class.  Otherwise, wear dance attire.


This is our 3 year old and 4 year old program that teaches students the basic fundamentals and techniques of gymnastics by working on flexibility and muscle development.  These students will participate in our annual dance recital at the end of our school year. 30 minute class (Must be 3 years old by October 1)
